Our genmaicha combines green tea grown in Kirishima, Kagoshima, with roasted brown rice. The fresh character of the tea is balanced by a warm, nutty aroma and gentle toasted sweetness. Smooth and approachable with little bitterness, it is an easy everyday tea that pairs naturally with food.

This genmaicha comes from Kirishima, Kagoshima, one of Japan’s. Volcanic soil, clear mountain water, and mist that settles over the fields help create teas with distinctive character and aroma.
Tea Details:
- Origin: Kirishima, Kagoshima, Japan
- Cultivar: Blend of Asanoka, Yabukita
Brewing Instructions:
- Tea: 5 g
- Water: 8 oz / 240 ml
- Temperature: 200°F / 95°C
- Steep: 30 seconds
Pour the hot water directly over the leaves to bring out genmaicha's roasted aroma. Strain completely and enjoy.
Re-steep the leaves 1–2 more times, slightly increasing the steeping time with each infusion.
How to store
Storing the tea in the refrigerator or freezer keeps its freshness and flavor longer. Keep away from heat, humidity and strong odors.
